Financial Inclusion, Poverty, and Income Inequality: Evidence from European Countries

This study contributes to the existing literature on financial inclusion by examining determinants of and studying impact poverty reduction income inequality in European countries. We investigate 30 countries during 2004-2019 based a composite index (FII) constructed using principal component analysis (PCA). Then we assess inclusion, inequality, employing fixed effect method. The estimates reveal that, for countries, GNI per capita, population density, inflation, internet users have positive significant across all regressions. Rule law has age dependency ratio negative inclusion. findings also indicate that is significantly correlated with lower full sample. Lastly, present supports role reducing
